Travis Gregory and his team presented information about their recent CPOE go-live. University Health Care started their CPOE and Nursing Documentation conversion planning in 2005. Nursing Documentation went live in 2007 in a preparatory phase for CPOE. After two additional years of design, build, sweat, and tears, UHC went live this spring with CPOE. Travis presented a classic implementation 'tale' with too many ups and downs to list! The slides from the presentation will be made available on the website soon.
